my follow up transv us

hi my name is Annette im 41 with 2 grown kids.. not having any morovarian cysts us pelvis transvaginal ..won't see doctor for a few weeks...
                                                                                                                                                                  the patient a 41 year old female with a history of ovarian cysts and fibriod. nabothian cysts in the endocervix, 1.49cm8 0.63 in size noted. the uterus measures 7.33cm*5.37cm*4.92cm in size. endometrial thickness is 4.2mm and homogeneous. myoma in the body of the uterus posteriorly, 1.89cm* 1.36cm* in size noted. the right ovary is enlarged, measuring 5.23cm* 3.83cm* 3.08 in size noted. large clear cyst right ovary, 3.75cm* 3.53cm* in size noted with flow in the wall of the cysts on the color doppler. smaller cysts also noted in the right ovary, measuring 0.64cm* 0.61cm and 0.50cm*0.39cm in size . left ovary is 1.02cm*0.47cm*1.66cm in size.

impression:
1. myoma in the body  of the uterus and small free fluid in the cul de sac.
2.multiple cysts  in the right ovary, the largest clear cyst in the right ovary is 3.75cm* 3.53cm in size. normal left cyst.
3. in comparison with prior the cyst decreased in size.e.. i;ve had cysts over 4 yrs and get painful menstrul and heavy..very painful intercourse and get sharp pain out of the blue pelvic area... these are my results for my transvaginsal us

Hi!
If you were my patient, I would advise you that your results are pretty normal. I don't see an explanation for pelvic pain, and would be tempted to consider laparoscopy at this point. The myoma is very small and almost certainly benign.  The cyst in the right ovary is clear, and I would not be concerned about cancer.  It is possible that the cyst is causing the pain, but I would also want to rule out endometriosis -- hence the laparoscopy.
