I'm 4 months n 5 days along in my 5th pregnancy. I started having a lot of pain in my lower stomach but not the pelvic area. I also hav pain in my lower back. I was thinking its just Braxton hicks but it kept me up all nite n its more of a constant pain than one that comes and goes. Does anyone have any idea what could be going on? Please help!
HI! If you were my patient, I would advise you that it would certainly be a good idea for you to notify your doctor of your symptoms. After 4 kids, your tissues are probably stretched a bit, and it is pretty common to have some lower abdominal and lower back discomfort. There are maternity support garments that your doctor might be able to prescribe for you that might help with some discomfort. IF the pain becomes severe though--you should be seen by your provider! Good luck! Dr B
