period 7 days late ??
hi there,
wondered if you could help me...my period is 7 days late. I have taken 2 tests and both are negative.
i really dont want to be pregnant, but i dont know whats wrong??

what if you go to the doctor and get the same result and still no period. i am three weeks lat and i have taken three test and all is negative. i have alway been on time and my doctor did a test for menapause.

A pregnancy can be detected as early as 8 days after ovulation. HPTs differ in sensitivity; however, the two best (First Response Early Result and Clearblue Easy Earliest Results) can detect a pregnancy at the time of the missed menses (generally ~two weeks after conception). Since yours was negative I'd recommend repeating the test in one week (and/or pay a visit to your ob/gyn).
