please help (uti with trace of white blood cells in urine

hi. i just went to the doctor and was diagnosed with urinary tract infection. but the doctor found traces of white blood cells in my urine what could this mean? i am a 29 yr old female. i am experiencing lower abdomen pain,lower back pain and my sides hurt from arm pit to hips and down to my thigh. can anyone help

White blood cells are the body's infection fighting cells.  They are what make up pus when you get an infection.  Since you have a bladder infection, your body is sending white cells to your bladder to fight it.  This will clear up when you take your antibiotics.
