post menopausal womb thickening & calcification of ovary

I have not had a period of 1.5years, early menopause probably due to many IVF cycles.  Suddenly had excessive bleeding sent for scan, thickness of womb 7.8mm the ovary that could be seen has some calcification.  Have had a endometrial biopsy and am now awaiting a TWR hysteroscopy and D & C. ~Various operations in past including 2 ectopic pregnancies, one cesarian, one tubal surgery and various laparoscopies for cysts and endeometoritis.

Am I higher risk for womb cancer?  Will the hysteroscopy give a definite answer?

Hi!
The hysteroscopy should be fairly close to 99% accurate, and biopsies will most likely rule out uterine cancer.  Risk factors for endometrial cancer include PCOS, diabetes, overweight, colon cancer, breast cancer, age.  You don't mention any of these risk factors.  You are probably at fairly low risk because of all the progesterone that is used in IVF cycles.  Hope everything turns out OK!
Good luck!
