pregnancy tests confusion!

Hi, im 22 and well me and my husband have been trying to conceive for 7 months and no luck yet..last month we had had intercourse according to the ovulation calender and i did the whole put your legs up or put a pillow under your bottom..and my period is usually 30 days..and its due on may 9..so for the past week ive been feeling very different..my stomache doesnt feel the same,it feels heavy, i threw up in the morning last week,ive been having light cramps,and headaches and i find i cant sleep on my stomache because its uncomfortable..i did 2 hpt tests yesterday one in the morning..it was a first response gold digital and it said yes+...then couple hours later i did another life brand one and it said negative..today i did another first response test but different test and it was negative and i did it first pee in the morning...i dont understand!!! im soo confused..because im gettin all these symptoms and i feel like i am pregnant.and also my cervix my husband says feels tight and different..so anyone have any suggestions as to why this is happening??

Hi!
There isn't much that can cause a false positive pregnancy test, so if you had a positive, chances are it IS positive.
Your best bet is to get a blood test from your doctor--which can then be repeated in 48 hours to determine if it is rising appropriately for a normal pregnancy.

If you don't want to do that, you could wait a few days and take another test--using the first morning urine is important, the pregnancy hormone is most concentrated in this sample.
