Hi!
Depending upon what they did in the surgery, it may improve your chances.  Sometimes removing a part of the ovary is helpful to stimulate ovulation.
Since you are having a regular period, it is likely that you are ovulating, which is good, of course.

One way to find out if you are ovulating, is to do a progesterone level on the 21st day of your cycle.  (Count from the first day of your period, and do the test on the 21st day).

You may also want to consider an HSG (hysterosalpingogram) to check to see if the tubes are open or blocked.  Also, a sperm count is a good idea.

85% of healthy normal couples will conceive within a year of trying.

Hope this is helpful!

hi

thanks alot doctor

I did do all those test and my tubes are open and the sperm count is good. No they didnt remove the ovary just the cyst in the ovary. Its my ovulation time now and i went to see my doctor and with only using metphormin two eggs are seen which he said meant that i am ovulating. I was told to keep trying for next two months and see what happens. What do you think?
