Is it possible to get pregnant without having periods?

by haleyb, Oct 31, 2009 01:24PM
I recently got off the depovera shot about a month or two ago.I was on it for about two years.I was told i would have a period soon after getting off but, still no period.
I was just wondering if it was still possible to conceive without having a period with my circumstances?

Also, on another subject.I was wanting to know the name of some conditions that cause you to not "enjoy or feel" sex.

Hi!
Yes, it is possible to get pregnant before you have your period.  I have met a few ladies during my career that have had babies so quickly after each other or after stopping birth control that they didn't have a period for 10-15 years!
I ALWAYS recommend taking a test!
Usually it is called sexual dysfunction which is a broad term or anorgasmia which is a more specific term for failure to have an orgasm.
You may notice that your sex drive (libido) improves dramatically after stopping Depo!
Good luck!
