Dear Doctor,

According to my previous post...tomorrow i will be finishing th antibiotics...flagyl...but the pain is the same in the lower abdomen and on the lower back. I am so scared, do they see on the vaginal ultrasound if the natural miscarriage has finished and everything is expelled as it was 3 and a half weeks ago.
waiting to hear your suggestions.
thank you

Hi!
Sorry to be slow to answer--busy week!  Yes, the ultrasound shows whether or not there are any retained pregnancy products. So, if your ultrasound was fine, the miscarriage is complete.  One worry remains--have you had a pregnancy hormone level to be absolutely certain that this is not a tubal pregnancy?  In my answer to your previous post, I listed some pain relievers that might be helpful.

Good luck!
Dr B
