I am 27yrs old, have never had children and have been on the pill for about 12years. I went off of the pill in Jan- May 2007. While off the pill my cycles were all over the place- ranging from 30-45days in length, lasting about 7 days or so. SOmewhat heavy bleeding, and some pain- not too horrible. Uterine prolapse ultrasound. It came back "endometrium slightly prominent". Now, the day after the test- I got my period. Is there any chance that the test could have shown that because my uterus was full of blood, or do you think it could be something more? I have to go this Friday for a repeat. I went back on the pill and am on the second pack- do you think it will still show abnormal? Is there a chance it could be cancer or would that show up in the ultrasound? Could it be endometriosis? Safe sex , shooting pain up my rectum(once in awhile), abdominal bloating from time to time throughout the month.Do you think it was something else, for instance, a cyst or tumor- wouldnt the ultrasound have said that? Or do you think it could have been just because of my period coming? If that is the case, because I am on the pill now, my new results shouldnt show that right? Doesnt the pill stop it from building up? Thank you so much!!!
