I went to see a gyno for a routine pelvic exam and internal. there was nothing to report. The following day I started to get a feeling of heaviness in my vagina and my buttocks, sometimes I get aching upper legs. This seems worse some days than others. I dont cope well with worry and I'm scared. What could this be?

Hello,

What you report are odd symptoms to be related to a routine pelvic exam.  If you are concerned they are related to your exam, and your symptoms persist or worsen, you may want to follow up with the ob/gyn who examined you.

Best regards,

Dr. Downing
