Hi!
If I understand you correctly, you are still bleeding since surgery.  That is a pretty long time to have bleeding!  If you were my patient, I would prescribe 14 days of progesterone for you to clean out the uterus.  Then, I would see whether you started regular cycles after that.  If not, I would suggest something like Clomid or Femara to help you ovulate.

By the way, after that much bleeding, you should probably be on some vitamins and iron.
A good woman's multivitamin is a great idea--generics are fine.

Good luck!

Hello,

I'm 24 yrs old and have been on Contraceptive since 2002. In 2002 i was deducted with ovarian cyst in one of my overy & also my insulin was high. However I had to change my gynecologist cause my earlier gyne was relocated to another location. In June 08, when my new gyne asked me to show her new ultrasound report & some other tests, then it was discovered that i both my overies were effected & now i have polycystic overies but the insulin is in control & i'm still on Contraceptive (Ovral - L) .

Wanted your advice to know whether i'm on correct drug or there is some other way too to handle this. I'm about to get married next year, so will this be causing any problem as & when i decide to get pregnant?

Please advice. Thanks. Nitika Kaul
