P3-P4 Apple/Strawberry/Cashew Protein Bars: I believe that this is one awesome combination. Peanut Flour is great with the Apples and Strawberry flavor of these bars and cashews give a great mild sweet taste to the bars as well as a nice crunch. This is simply amazing. Total Calories 67 per bar.
2 Cups Peanut Flour (you can use Almond flour, oat flour or coconut flour)
2 Cups Vanilla Whey Protein Powder (Jay Robb preferred)
2 tsp Cinnamon
1 ½ tsp apple pie spice
1 tsp baking powder (Aluminum Free preferred)
1 tsp baking soda
½ tsp Celtic sea salt
½ Cup Xylitol
2 tsp strawberry powder (dehydrated strawberries grounded)
¼ Cup dehydrated strawberries crushed in small bits
½ Cup Chopped cashews (you can use almonds, pecans, macadamia nuts or walnuts)
4 Egg Whites
½ Cup Vanilla Almond Milk unsweetened
4 oz. Unsweetened Apple Sauce
15 oz can No Sugar Added Apples
2 tsp vanilla
Fold & Mix, place in 14 x 9 cake pan or Pyrex spray with Pam
Pre-Heat oven to 350 degrees and cook for 35 minutes. Nice to top with cool whip and a cup of coffee. Makes 24 protein bars or use as cake. As always, you can substitute ingredients as you desire or any combination...I just like this one.
