Doubt
Hi. A woman (unknown serology) held my finger to get my fingerprints. I had a small cut near the nail. She put her finger just over the cut. I didn't saw if she was bleeding. Some doubts:

1) Is it possible to be infected by HIV this way?
2) Even if she was bleeding (I didn't saw any blood, but we never know, right)?
3) If no, why not?
4) Do I need to get tested?

I'm very afraid. Thank you!

1) Is it possible to be infected by HIV this way? NO
2) Even if she was bleeding (I didn't saw any blood, but we never know, right)? YES, NO RISK AS SHE WOULD NEED TO BE PROFUSELY BLEEDING
3) If no, why not? YOU DID NOT SEE ANY BLOOD, HER STATUS IS UNKNOWN, AND THE VIRUS BECOMES UNSTABLE OUTSIDE THE BODY
4) Do I need to get tested? NO, YOU DON'T
Best,
Dr José

Thanks, Doctor.
Even in the worst scenario (Let's imagine... if she is positive and if she had a small bleeding in her finger)... Do you still believe there are no chances?
Best,
Antonio.

Antonio,
I think that you are overreacting.  This is ridiculous.
I do not think that there is any risk to you.
Regards,
Dr José
