HIV test

Good day,

I had a protected sex couple of times along with oral, as am not sure about my partner HIV state, so I got worried really worried and so I have done hiv1,2 & p24 after 46 days and it came -ve, but again some drs told me its not enough snd I  need to repeat it again after 3 month to be accurate, now I am now 74 days and did HIV1,2 and came -ve is it enough or p24 is a must for an accurate result?

Thank you Dr for you reply, and sorry if i'll sound irritating but you know where am coming from....., So you mean that although in the sec test P24 was not included still there no need to make it.....HIV1,2 is enough? i though P24 is more imp than HIV 1,2.......or at least some told me so...

Thank you very much for your post.
You are defintiely HIV negative.  Bothe negative test results are conclusive at those window periods.  No need to wait any longer and no need to have any further tests.
