Peace of mind before travelling

Dear Doc,

I posted before and you told me that it is highly unlikely to get HIV from the event I have described.
As a reminder, event with the CSW was as follows: Kissing, unprotected brief oral to get me erected, vaginal penetration using a condom, touched her labia using my tongue for a second.
The thing is, I also remember that she took the condom off, masturbated me, and then she put it on me again. I cannot remember for sure after nearly 3 months and I was very drunk that night and I started to freak out over the idea that she may put the condom inside out and the head of my penis came to contact with her vaginal fluids on the condom.
My latest test was negative at 9 weeks + 4 days HIV ab/ag (3rd or 4th I don't know). I also tested for hep a,b,c and syphilis which came negative.

I have 4 swollen nodes in my neck (discovered 2-3 weeks before the last test), my ENT told me to leave them as they are small and they will go on their own but I did not tell him about my HIV fears. also my tongue has a white/yellow/green coating on it that's always there and I am getting a lot of pimples on my tongue (excuse my english it's not my native) and cuts in my mouth.

I am travelling soon and cannot repeat my test here and I cannot test abroad, so, my next possible test will be months away.

For my peace of mind can you please answer my questions:
1- Wearing the condom inside out and the contact with her fluids, does that pose a risk?
2- How reliable is 9 weeks + 4 days negative test?
3- Do I need further testing or I can move on?
4- Does the lymph nodes, tongue and mouth issues indicate HIV?

Thanks doc in advance.

Thank you Dr. Sean for your answer. I don't know what I could have done without this web site and your forum.

Good Morning again,

It really is time to stop worrying and examining yourself all over now please.

You've asked:-

My latest test was negative at 9 weeks + 4 days HIV ab/ag (3rd or 4th I don't know). I also tested for hep a,b,c and syphilis which came negative.

The combination of a antibody and an antigen is a fourthgeneration test which is excellent and once beyond 28 days after possible exposure you can rely on it.

Rely on what the ENT doctor has said and leave them alone. He has said there is nothing wrong with them.

No - I do not believe it does - but even if it did do, you have had an excellent 4th generation test which establishes without doubt that you are HIV negative.

2- How reliable is 9 weeks + 4 days negative test?

As above - certain.

3- Do I need further testing or I can move on?

Move on.

4- Does the lymph nodes, tongue and mouth issues indicate HIV?

No - no exposure, negative HIV test, negative examine by ENT - all equals nothing wrong with you.

best regards, Sean
