Some Advice Please

6 weeks ago I had protected sex with a woman from Africa in M East can take it she was HIV. I had no issues with the condom though I am concerned there could have been a hole in it as a few days later I had a very slight burning feeling(maybe not related?) in my tube at top of penis, which is still there sometimes.? If a woman gives u a std like Gonoreah then if she has HIV she must have given it as well?

My big worry is in terms of some swelling under my armpits. last weekend I was very busy doing work in the garden and did not have a shower for 3 days but used antiperspirant. That sunday night I noticed a swelling what felt like a large spot in my left armpit and a smaller one in my right. the left one had what looked like a raised small white head.  It was ~half cm but had raised the area around it (horizontal not vertical)
Om Monday I took 1500 mg of penicillan and the swelling went right down, so after two days max more or less gone. My Big question is, swelling of Nodes from HIV in armpit, how long do they last? If caused by HIV the penicillin should have had no effect?, can a node just swell and go down in a day or so with HIV?
Also I am feeling burning feeling in my glands in my groin ( more pronounced when I lie on my back with my knees up and feet flat, but no swelling of nodes. I have been to doctor twice and had HIV test (test at 5 weeks and 5 days). The doctor says she did not think that the swelling in my armpit was a gland and there is no swelling in my groin nodes or neck/head. If this test is -VE I will have another at 3 month mark.

Could my swelling in my armpits be from not washing them and using antiperspirant, hair follicle, but in both armpits at same time?, is it to much of a coincidence that this happened after 6 weeks of having sex, or can the fact that the node only stayed1.5/2 days give me any hope?, the doctor also said the burning feelings in my groin could be stress related as I have been on net and knew this was a sign?

Good Morning

You can't assume that the lady you had sex with is HIV positive. She might be of course but very likely not. But, even assuming that she was then the fact that you used a condom will protect you on this occasion and you will not have become HIV positive from it. I don't believe in pin pricks in condoms.

I think you have had good advice from your doctor already and to some extent you have proved the  point in terms of the swelling/irritation improving with the antibiotics.

The oral episode you have remembered is very likely to have caused you to have the symptoms you describe.

My advice would be to have a full sexual health screen if you haven't done so already.

I'm entirely with your doctor on the internet side of things. Sounds as though she has everything under control.

best regards, Sean
