thank you for your answer Dr Sean

I am planning to go to london to do a PCR test at 10 days , do you recommend this ? or should I just forget about it since you think I had no risk ?

and if I did that and it as negative , is it conclusive or should I do a test on 28 day ?

Hello - I am sorry for the delay in responding.

I do not believe you are at risk of HIV from this because it was so brief and there was no ejaculation - so I do not believe you have been exposed to HIV.

There is - contrary to ahabib90's comments above - a small risk to people of HIV infection if they suck a male and he is HIV positive and he ejaculates into their mouth - that risk is around 1 in 5000 or so. In your case he did not ejaculate into your mouth and so I do not believe there was a risk.

You may want to consider that other diseases such as syphilis, chlamydia and gonorrhoea may be more easily spread and that you might wish to test for these before returning to sexual activity with your wife.

kind regards, Sean

Hello there
I'll try to help. You are at NO risk of HIV here. Oral sex is NOT a risk factor. So please relax. With just 3 seconds, the chance you caught anything at all is very low. You might just be guilty and reacting this way. You can look up Dr Hansfield's comments about the risks of oral sex on this website. Hope this helps
