Black dot/Glands

Hi Doc,

I know I just posted a week ago and that my other thread ran out of responses and realized I had to purchase my last question in a 6 month span.

But all was going well after my last talk with Dr. Hook.  But today I noticed a little black pin sized dot on the inside of my left cheek.  I'm really worried what this could be.  I tested at 6 weeks 2 days post exposure and again ~90 days.  Both were EIA HIV 1/2 AB tests w/reflexes.  Both came back negative.  I tried to get ahold of Quest Diagnostics in Seattle to find out what generation the test was but I couldn't get ahold of anyone.

I also noticed that my glands on each side of my cheeks look open, like cuts. The glands I am referring to are the Stensens Ducts.  I am extremely worried being that 2 days after my exposure I got a fever, back/rib pain, sensations in my legs, and swollen lymph nodes under the neck that only lasted one day, and diarrhea that last a week.  The whole sickness lasted about a week and a half.  Like I'e said, I've had the negative tests, but with these new details can you help me interpret them? Thanks!

A need to pay for a new question is not the reason Dr. Hook deleted your last comments and forcibly terminated your last thread.  He did it because you had difficulty accepting or believing his reassurance and because this forum does not accept repetative anxiety-driven follow-up comments.

You do not have HIV.  Your test results prove it, and therefore the "black dots" and other symptoms cannot be caused by HIV.  It's that simple.  On this forum we do not speculate about causes of symptoms other than HIV.  If you remain concerned, see your dentist or your primary care doctor.  But stop worrying about HIV.

There will be no follow-up comments or discussion on this thread.

Doc, just wanted to post my 3rd test result.  It was a OralQuick swab test, 132 days post exposure, NEGATIVE.

The black dot ended up being a burn mark I believe.

jhguy011 stated on my community question: "Smoking k2 or spice will not affect HIV test results.  The immune response to HIV (which is what the HIV antibody test measures) is unaffected by marijuana or close substitutes."

Would you agree with this?

This is all.

Thanks doc! I am going to seek professional therapy help to try and get over this phobia.  Sorry for the anxiety questions.  Hopefully this will help get rid of them for me.
