the issue of "faint" test results is irrelavant. When the tests are positive, it is clear. You really need to put this behing you. EWH
ok thankyou, one last thing would a result at 15 weeks be too faint to see unless close examination?
Yes I agree that im overly obsessive, but actually getting my questions answered from a doctor is definitely putting my mind to rest..
thankyou very much btw
Welcome to the Forum. I'm pleased to tell you that all of your tests- HIV, gonorrhea, chlamydia, and syphilis have now provided you with conclusive evidence that you were not infected at the time of your sexual encounter over eight weeks ago.
As for your question about the presence of HIV in OraQuick, the answer is that none of the tests used for detection of HIV contained HIV virus. There is no risk to you of infection from handling the test or it's components.
Finally, I need to also suggest that you are being overly fearful about HIV and perhaps STIs. Please remember most people do not have STIs, even when they do, most exposures to infected partners do not lead to infection, and safe sexual practices (I.e. Correct and consistent condom use) will keep you sexually healthy.
I hope thiese comments are helpful. It is time for you to move forward without concern. EWH
Also was a negative sti test at 8 weeks for chladmdiya, syphilis and gonorrhea considered conclusive?
