HIV and Peripheral Neuropathy

I have been having tingling numbness and burning sensation over part of my body foot, legs, thighs, hand, arm and face along with dizzness and head ache. My encounter was almost 6 month ago tested negative at 8, 12, and 17 weeks with rapid test one swab and two blood stick. Do PN come on at the begining of HIV Infection? Could I have a different type of strain of HIV and the test not picking it up?  I am going to the doctors and none of them is able to fine anytghin had all kind of blood work.  I just don't know what is going on.  Hope you can answer my question and shed some ling on what might be going on.  What so strange is that my wife is going thru the same symptoms as I am and she knows nothing about my encounter so I can't put it on anxitey. Your symptoms do sound like a neuropathy of some sort which is a problem that should be addressed by a neurologist.  There are innumerable causes of peripheral neuropathy but recently acquired HIV is not one of them.  Furthermore, you do not have HIV; the negative blood tests tell you that this is the case.  My advice is to go on and seek the advice of a neurologist.  EWH

So I guess you are saying  that there is not a strain that I could have and the test not picking it up.
