Hepatitis B and HIV

I forgot to as you Dr. can Hepatitis B affect an HIV test?  In the first week of August I was run for all STD's and it came back that I had passed the Hepatitis B infection and only had the anti-bodys.  I am not a chronic carrier. Will this make the HIV anit-bodys progress slower? I have had 3 negative HIV tests since then.. 6 weeks, 8 weeks and 10 weeks.. and my 13 week is today? I don't know much about Hepatitis B.

You have been infected with HBV, your immune system resolved it, and you are now immune.

You can rely on your negative HIV test results.  Your HBV status has no influence whatsoever on them.  No medical condition of any kind has any effect at all on the reliability of HIV test results, with the possible (and unlikely) exception of advanced (near death) cancer or potent chemotherapy.

Good luck---  HHH, MD

Forgive me for asking a question here but my thread was completely filled up with people arguing.  This also relates to this thread a bit too.

Will antibiotics affect an elisa test in any way?  I am currently on amoxicillin for strep throat and am taking my 6 month test.
