Hiv test after pep

I am sorry , my English is so poor……

I have unprotected sex with a csw at 4 Feb 2014 and I used PEP 28 days included Lamzidivir and Zidovudine, Kaletra at 43hours after exposure. The dr who give me pep cannot follow me, because I leave that city and he is a experts for treatmenting not testing, he cannot give me more help.16 April 2014 is about 6 weeks after finish PEP I have taken HIV combo Ab/Ag test is Negative. after 8 weeks(12 weeks after exposure) after the last PEP if I have taken HIV combo Ab/Ag test is Negativ, How many percentage I safety with HIV?

I ask the experts at THEBODY,they told me the result at 8weeks after finsih pep is Conclusive and stop to test, they give me a pep paper about NewYork:
http://www.hivguidelines.org/wp-content/uploads/2013/12/i-might-have-been-exposed-to-hiv...-what-should-i-do.pdf
and Australia:
http://www.ashm.org.au/pep-guidelines/NPEP_PEP_guidelines_Dec_2013.pdf
Do you think this?

But at here you told us we must test even 6 month after pep,so I feel very very afraid。Do you think the combo Ab/Ag test after pep?

Most important:Do you think the combo Ab/Ag test at 8weeks after pep is Conclusive? Do I need more test?

Wait for your response,  Very very thank u.

Welcome to the Forum.  Before I comment on your follow-up test results, let me point out that the exposure you describe is not one for which PEP is even recommended.  The risk for the encounter you describe was too low for PEP to be recommended. thus it was unlikely even before you took PEP that you were at almost no risk for HIV.

Your testing since completion of PEP is strong evidence confirming that you did not get HIV from the exposure you describe.  The "official" recommendations of the U.S. CDC is that follow-up testing after PEP should be done at 6 weeks, 12 weeks and 6 months however most experts think that is excessive.  A negative combination HIV ag/Ab test at 6 weeks is very, very strong evidence that you were not infected and, if I were you, I would not worry further.  EWH

As i told you above, the official recommendation is for follow-up tests at 6 weeks, 12 weeks, and six months following PEP.  I also told you that i n my opinion, you did not need PEP to tart with, therefore I see no reason to tesst further.  Whether you do or not is up to you.

I have nothing more to say.  EWH

1.it’s 54days after finish pep, but 8weeks have 56days, do you think 2 days have an influence on the result of test? do you think the result is conclusive?

Two days will not make a meaningful difference.  You should believe your test resutls from the 54 day test.

2.can I have a unprotected sex with my girl firend?

Yes.

3.Can I stop to test and forget the hiv?

That would be my adivce.  EWH

2.can I have a unprotected sex with my girl firend?

Yes, this would provide further definitive evidence that you did not get HIV.  EWH
