PLEASE HELP

Hi, Doctor, i talked to you before about this issue that i got my result back after 15 weeks which is negative, the brief question is that, had unprotected sex with a woman only just one time on 27th July but we both did not ejaculate its was just 2 mints sex, i first time tested on 10/01/2010 which was negative. after that exposure i felt all symptoms and still i am feeling symptoms to date. i tested second time on 11/06/2010 almost 15 weeks after that incident(my both tests were Hiv 1 Home ACCESS Test. my result after 15 weeks that is negative. My question is that (1)what is actually that window period (2) does  test after 15 weeks conclusive? do i need further test? (3) what is compromised immune system/weak immune system? (4) does  compromised immune system/weak immune system delay the detection of Antibody? (5) does three months enough for the test? i heard that some times it may take 6 months to detect antibody in the blood. is this correct? i never got sick in my whole like i had never been on treatments.

lastly, i am feeling symptoms like pain under arms, some times headack and almost symptoms i am losing weight.i am very disturbed right now please guide me, i will be very thankful to you

I will not go into detail here as to your questions.  Any test taken more than 8 weeks following exposure provides reliable infomration which you should believe.  You need to believe your tests and stop worrying about symptoms which could be caused by any number of things other than HIV.  Your repeated tests prove that you do not have HIV and that you do not need repeat testing.  EWH

You are not reading my reply.

1.  All persons who acquire HIV would have postive tests within 8 weeks of exposure. If you wish to call this a "window" you may.

2.  Yes.

3.  A meaningless term and not something to worry about.

4.  In theory, yes.

5.  Yes, more than enough.  This is the 3rd time in this reply I have answered the same question which was phrased in a slightly different way.  What you heard is wrong.  EWH
