Test or not test that is the question

Dear Doctors,

Yesterday I had sex with two sex workers simultaneously .

I am very drunked, I thought that had sex without protection with them. Today, I called one sex worker who was with me this night. She said me, "You were very drunked, but We used condoms, for anal and vaginal sex and the condoms didn´t break"(She believe it I don't know if the condoms broke). The sex worker said me too, She was tested 4 months ago and the test came back negative. I was tested 2 months ago (three months after "pre-last" sexual encounter) and the test came back negative and this is the unique exposition after the test.

I am very afraid about HIV. I think "I am Infected and my death is near".

The questions are:

1. Am I in a high risk level for HIV?
2. Should I be tested in 3 and 6 months (Do you recommend it)?
3. Can continue my life without thinking about HIV or Should I wait the test results?
4. Do you think I am infected?

Thanks.

Thanks a lot of. Doctor. I was very anxious, but your words are reassuring for me. I believe I don´t have HIV, based in your answer.

Can I be a new person and forget this bad moment without think in HIV, and move on?

Thanks, newly.

Your risk is low.  I suspect the sex workers you spoke to told the truth.

1. They probably are not infected with HIV.
2.  Condoms work and protect from HIV
3.  Even if one of them had HIV and you had unprotected rectal sex with her, your risk would be one 1%

In answer to your questions:
1.  No
2.  If you wish to be tested, yo can have great confidence in any test taken after 8 weeks when 98-99% of tests that are going to be positive following an exposure will be positive.  There is certainly NO reason for a 6 month test.
3.  I would not worry about HIV if I were you.
4.  No, I think it is very unlikely that you are infected.  EWH
