Testing questions and hopefully calming of the fear

Hello Doctor.
Thank you for providing this service.  I have read through some of the posts and appreciate your taking the time to answer questions from people who are generally scared out of their minds!

Here goes:

I had an AB test 3 weeks post incident (possible SA, experienced blackout, memory lapses, etc. on evening in question), PCR DNA 29 days post incident, repeat AB 29 days and OraQuick (gum scrape) at 6 weeks, all of which were negative.  Would it be safe to assume I am in the clear?

Also, I have not had any fevers or anything like that, however, early this morning I felt moist on the back of my neck and chest, not dripping with sweat by any means, but moist to touch.  This could be from the comforter I slept under (have never slept under it for an entire night), but would like to know if this is indicative of a true night sweat or not.  I know this sounds so silly, but anxiety is beginning to take a serious toll on me.

Any help you can provide would be most appreciated.

Thank you.

You are exactly right:  Your anxiety is the only problem here.  You were badly overtested and the test results prove you don't have HIV.  Period.  You didn't have a night sweat and if you did it wouldn't matter as a sign of HIV.

Take any further concerns/questions to your healthc are provider.
