Thanks for saving 2 months of depression
Let me start out by saying "Thanks" to you Dr.Handsfield. After reading all the questions I was certain that I didn't catch hiv, but like you said 1000 times only testing negative result will tell the truth.
My exposure was as below:
Safe sex (oral/vaginal/anal) with stripper in Southbeach Miami.
Date of Encounter: Oct 14th, 2006
Why I did it? I was drunk.
Do I feel guilty? Extremely
Did condom stay intact? yes
Did condom broker/slipped? No
Am I sexually active? No, that was my only encounter since 2005, before that I only had sex twice with two different girls. I am straight man.
Why I was worried?
(1) Paranoid by nature
(2) Wasn't sure what type of condom she used
(3) Little bit of grinding (Penis to her public hair touching unprotected)
(4) Deep kissing
(5) I sucked on her finger
So finally after 1 good long month of hell I put it together and got tested today. Exactly at 32 days mark and results were negative. I had oraquick test done and it was negative...WOO HOO :) I am not asking you how accurate 32 day Ora test is? Coz you already answered 1000 times "no matter what generation test it is......if it is negative at 4-6 week mark, you do not need additional testing if you were at "low risk" exposure. Right? lol. Considering my exposure (not knowing which type of condom she used!! I still believe my exposure was low risk) With that said, I do not want to get tested again unless if I put myself at risk (which I won't), please correct me if I am wrong here.
Tell you the truth, at first I didn't believe in this website that 4-6 week (over 30 days)testing is over 90% accurate. Then just like all other paraniods I also start looking on net. Finally after some research, I found one site that was upstraight just like this site. They said same thing that over 96% of people who are infected with hiv will have detectable antibodies by day 30. So at 32 day mark negative results gives me somewhat indication to go out and party :)
About symptoms: Only one symptom I had is that whenever I take hot showers (specially since last 2 weeks) I see red rash on my upper chest and on my thighs. This morning when I woke up I had red rash on my upper chest. It don't itch though and it goes away automatically after 10 minutes. Other than that, I have dark brown spots below my abs (in public area).... may be 8 OR 9, but I had it before southbeach encounter. Do I need to be concerend about rash/brownspots or any other STDs. Actually, my doctor inspected my penis week after encounter and he didn't see anything unusal.
In summary, Dr. Handsfield like my title says I am going to repeat it again. Thank you very much for saving 2 additional months of depression/stress. Coz before I came on this site, I was simply gonna wait till 3 months to go get tested. I can't see myself suffering for 2 more months. This is best $15 I sepent in my life. May God help and I make more money, I will definately come here to donate more.

I cannot say what might be causing the skin rash or discoloration you describe. Certainly it isn't due to HIV or any other STD. See a health care provider if it persists.

Your negative hiv tests proves your "rash" doesn't have anything to do hiv. Consult a dermatologyst if it continues to bother you, otherwise, congrads!
You had no risk bro..you are good to go!! Whats that web site you were looking at besides this one? Good luck with you!

For that rash, well I started using new soap may be that's reason. Other one might be I had spider bite last year and that caused posion ivy. After than incident, I am getting small rashes like these sometimes.
