Unprotected vaginal sex with French-North African girl

met a 31 year old Algerian girl who lives in Paris (she lives there and her family are there also). She was on holiday in London, I met her and we had a week long relationship. Non smoker, non drinker.

The first time we had sex, I used  condom, and she insisted on it. She actually turned out to be a Virgin. When I finished there was blood on the sheets and condom.

Of course, I have no proof she was a Virgin but she was an honest girl as far as I could tell, and the blood was real.

The second time we had sex, I didn't use a condom. Sex lasted probably less than 5 minutes.

I asked if she had any illness, she said no. She also insisted on condoms but relented because I couldn't sustain an erection .

I was tested in February after a similar unprotected exposure, negative at six weeks with duo test.

I know I'm stupid.. Please advise Dr -  should I bother testing for this incident?  Your advice will be final.

My comments are no different.  Testing is always a personal decision.  EWH

Thanks Dr

In the past I have seen posts recommending that there is no real point of hiv testing after similar exposures as mine.. How come the advice is different?

She definitely isn't an IVU and she told me before sex she was a Virgin, and the blood seemed to support that

Welcome back to the Forum.  I'll be pleased to comment.  If you know that your partner had never had sex with anyone else and was not a drug user then you can be almost certain that she did not have HIV or other STIs.  Thus there would be o use to you of infection.  In contrast, if you hare not sure, you should be tested for STIs, including HIV at appropriate times.  EWH
