Worried, Anxiety

I had pneumonia a week or so before Halloween. Since the end of may until now i have had six partners and no protection. The first and third partners have been tested negative for some time now. Which makes me nervous about the last one. After her in end of Sept(23) i acquired pneumonia a week before Halloween. Since then until now my symptoms have been swollen lymph nodes in neck for going on three weeks. Rash on inner left thigh that doesn't itch. My liver hurt for two days. I think i see things especially when i look outside at the sky. Had one night sweat. Constantly wake up at all time of the night with worry. Ejaculation in my sleep one time. Stopped masturbation because i was nervous and then three days in a row did it and now it hurts a little. No fever. I recently tested and was negative for hiv. A. B. C. And stds. This was six to seven weeks after my last encounter.

Welcome to our Forum. to my knowledge, today is the first time you have posted on our Forum- I do see your other 20 posts on the Community sites.  Clearly all of a sudden your anxiety over your recent sexual exposures has taken off on you.  That said, sexual exposures to heterosexual women are relatively low risk- here in the U.S. less than 1 in 10,000 women has HIV and any single unprotected exposure carries, on average, only a 1 in 1000 risk for infection.  For you, in addition to the fact that several of your past partners have now been tested and are HIV negative, that you have a negative HIV test is a strong indicator that you did not get HIV- at 6 weeks over 95% of persons who are going to develop a positive test and despite the fact that conservative sites continue to state that you can only be sure that you do not have HIV 12 weeks following an exposure, the fact is that neither of us, nor any of our colleagues have seen someone who has not been taking anti-HIV therapy take more than 8 weeks to develop a positive test using currently available tests.  All of this is strong indication that you should not be worried about HIV from the partners you have mentioned.

Your risk for other STDs (i.e. chlamydia for instance) is far higher than your risk for HIV- I hope you were tested for these.

Finally, none of the symptoms you describe raise any concerns about HIV.  Rashes and red eyes that go away after awakening are certainly not a reason for concern, or are the other symptoms you describe, all of which are more likely to be due to something other than HIV than to be due to HIV.

I hope my comments are helpful. Please try your best not to worry.  EWH

You can ask but I cannot qanswer.  There are many possible causes.  On of the most common ones is heartburn/reflux.  There are many, many other causes -f you are truely worried about the sweats, you should go for a general check-up and ask your doctor.  EWH

None of these, the lines on your toe nails, slow to resolve athlete’s foot or occasional night sweats is in any way suggestive of HIV.  Sounds like you have been spending too much time on the internet - not a good idea for a person with anxiety issues.  EWH

But i still have to ask, what about the horizontal lines on my toenails along withathletes foot and night sweats? I can't explain why thus is all coming together at the same time? Any thoughts?

I have posted this in the other forum but I have been waiting very patiently to get some sort of answers. I reckon with all the info I have read and obtained I could spend some money. I know I have to wait 3 months for a conclusive test result. But my anxiety and fear are definitely getting the upper hand on me and I wake up at all hours of the night sometimes sweating but no need to change clothes. Since this post a week and a half or so ago, I have noticed redness of the chest and arms but only when I wake up and it goes away after five or ten min. Maybe due to sleeping on chest? Red eyes right away when I wake up in the morning then 90% of it goes away in ten minutes. Athletes foot is still not gone yet. And I have noticed definitive horizontal lines on my big toe which is making me more nervous. My private area hurt on both sides which come and go. And occasional abdomen pain both sides comes and goes. Still swollen nodes in neck, not sure about whiteness of tongue, it always has been like that, it doesnt hurt anyway. no sore throat or diarrhea. confused sometimes. I would just like some professional advice that might take me serious or  maybe i am crazy?
