Re-read my answer. Your fears are not rational. There will be no further answers. EWH
Correct. you did not get HIV from the exposure you are worried about. EWH
Welcome to the Forum. Before I comment on any HIV risk associated with your exposure (here's the preview- it was miniscule and you have no reason to worry), let me comment on the observation that seems to have gotten things started here, the fact that you noted warts on your penis several days after this exposure. Sometimes after an exposure that, in retrospect, one wishes they had not had, persons tend to examine themselves and be far more attuned to genital sensations than in periods when they are not concerned. I suspect this may be contributing here--the warts you detected were almost certainly not due to your encounter 2-3 days earlier. it takes weeks to months for warts to appear. Thus you can be confident that you did not get warts from this partner but from someone at an earlier time.
Now, let's consider HIV. The likelihood that a 42 YOU white woman who is not an IV drug user has HIV is less than 0.1% (1 in a thousand). Further, the risk of getting HIV from a single exposure is also less than 1 in a thousand. Finally, at 6 weeks (42 days) virtually all HIV infections acquired 6 weeks earlier would be detected by current tests. Putting all of this, please don't worry, the chance that you got HIV from the exposure you describe is virtually zero.
I hope this comment helps. Take care. EWH
Im just scared because i keep reading that the way you get genital warts is by having a weak immune system and healthy immune systems wont show signs of hpv. So basically thats why im scared that i have hiv
So no more testing or worrying myself to death?
