Dr Hansfield,
I understood it cannot be hiv. My appetite is much better now, but I have been still having low grade fever 98.6 Ft to 98.9 F(nearly two weeks duration until now), which makes me tired especially at the end of the day.
I feel something from my lymph node on the right side of my neck. But my doctor said he could not feel any swelling of that. What is your suggestion what can I do? Am I facing some kind of virus infection? I have no cough, no sore throat, no rash, no night sweats..
Please help me.
This forum doesn't speculate about causes other than HIV. "What is your suggestion what can I do?" Do what everyone does when they have symptoms or health problems that concern them: visit a doctor or clinic.
And I kiss HIV people who I know have HIV -- social friends of mine -- and for all I know, probably other people with HIV I don't know about. Same for you: for every person you shake hands with who you know has HIV, you probably shake hands, exchange change at cash registers, and otherwise have daily contact with others who also have HIV. If HIV could be passed in the ways you fear, it would be 100 times more common than it is. You cannot possibly catch HIV in the ways you describe. Everybody knows this and it is time you understood it as well. Something other than HIV is the cause of your symptoms, assuming you haven't had any actual HIV risk exposures. You don't need testing for HIV.
Let's not have any "yes but" or "what if" comments. There is no information you can provide that is likely to change my opinion or advice.
