hiv risk

Good afternoon doctors,

Exposures:
1.Mutual masturbation with exposure to vaginal fluids (scrotums in touch with vaginal fluids) 05/july/11(prostitute).Basically she touched one time my scrotums while I was masturbating myself with hand with vaginal fluids present, not any other body contacts.
2.Hand job with baby oil during a body massage in massage center 15/july/11

No vaginal, anal, oral activities at all. Feeling a very very little discomfort, not very often in my urethra, not when urinating not after. No discharge any kind. Could be normal sensation or not? Very confused.

What is the risk of any STDs including HIV? Testing or not?

Thanks

Welcome to our Forum.  I'll be pleased to comment. there is no risk of HIV or of other STDs from the contact you describe.  Mutual masturbation typically involves contact of the participants to each others' genital secretions yet HIV has never been described to be transmitted in this way. There is no reason to worry and the exposure you describe in not a medical reason to seek testing.

Sometimes the oils and lotions used for massage (and masturbation) can contain chemical which are irritating or cause allergic reactions. When this happens the symptoms typically begin soon after the contact and resolve with time.  They do not however come and go.

As for abnormal sensations which come and go, this would be most unusual for any STD.  On the other hand, sometimes after an exposure that, in retrospect, one wishes they had not had, persons tend to examine themselves and be far more attuned to genital sensations than in periods when they are not concerned.  This in turn leads to noticing what turn out to be normal sensations that might have been not noticed or ignored at other times.  Perhaps this was a contributor to your situation.

Nothing you describe suggests a need for STD testing including HIV.

I hope my comments are helpful. EWH
