No, it will not be conclusive until you also have an antibody test that is negative at least 4 weeks after the event.

This is your third "last question", and truly your last.  We don't need to hear about negative test results that could not be otherwise, based on your exposure.  If positive, it would be necessary to look back on exposures other than the one described above.

This hread is done.

For the reasons already discussed, it is not likely to be ARS.  But since you are concerned, see a doctor or clinic.  Feel free to report the results, but otherwise this forum cannot help further.

I gave you my judgment of your risk of having HIV.  It's your job, not mine, to decide whether or not you are willing to take the one-in-a-million chance, or whether your wife would be comfortable with that level of risk.  And then there is the possibility of other STDs, which is a lot higher than the HIV risk, although still relatively low.

If I were in your situation (which at this point in my life isn't likely) I would have a urine chlamydia and gonorrhea test now and wait until the result before resuming unprotected sex with a regular partner, but would not feel a need to wait several weeks for my HIV and syphilis blood test results.  But I'm not you; you'll have to make your own decision.

Thanks for the additional information.

Having sex with tattooed guys definitely is not the same as IV drug use or sex with injection drug users.  As a guess, the chance she had HIV probably was around 1 in 1,000.  If she did, the chance you caught it (taking your circumcision status into account) probably also was around 1 in 1,000. That meant the chance you caught HIV is around 1 chance in a million (0.001 x 0.001 = 0.000001).

Since you're worried, of course you should have an HIV test.  As suggested above, a test for standard STDs (chlamydia, gonorrhea, syphilis) would also be a good idea.  Urine testing for gonorrhea and chlamydia can be done any time now; but wait until 6 weeks have passed for blood testing for syphilis and HIV.  You can expect negative results, so stay mellow in the meantime.  (But for goodness' sake, get condoms and use them when you hook up with new partners!)

Sorry dr. I had unprotected vaginal sex with female. I'm not circumsized. And. Honestly had sex probably less than 2 minutes.  We were drunk and she also gave me oral. She said she doesn't but says she attracted to guys with tattoos. Isn't that the same as a risk for iv drug use.  When should I test. I'm almost feel like she had it. She said she was tested 2 months back but don't believe her. Please help.

Welcome to the forum.

You don't say anything about your partner 10 days ago, so I cannot judge the chance she might have HIV.  But if you're in the US, most likely the chance she is infected is well under 1% and probably no higher than 1 in 1,000.  And most HIV infected people know it and don't lie when asked directly, so probably you should believe her.

You also don't say what you mean by "hooked up".  But even if you had unprotected vaginal sex, the odds you caught HIV -- if she has it -- are still low, in the range of 1 in 2,000.  And if you only mean oral sex or mutual masturbation, there was no significant risk of HIV at all.

Feel free to give some of the missing details, and I'll be happy to say a bit more about your risks.  But for now, it seems extremely unlikely you caught HIV and I doubt there is any risk to your wife.  However, the risk for other STDs probably is higher -- so depending on what sort of sexual practices you had, perhaps testing for chlamydia and other STDs would be a good idea.
