late seroconversion

Dear Doctor,
I am a healthy 35 years male.
I had an encounter with csw on 9 Jan 2014 vaginal sex for 10 mins.
I am uncertain of the effectiveness of condom, it was provided by CSW
After that encounter I was very anxious and depressed.
I took the following test
Antibody test rapid HIV 1&2  at 42 days result negative
Antibody test Enhanced chemo luminescence immuno assay HIV 1&2 at 42 days result negative index value 0.05
HIV 1 Real Time PCR RNA at 42 days result BELOW DETECTION limit  <71.6 IU/ml negative detection limit 71.6 copies
HIV 1&2 CMIA 4th gen at 89 days result negative
CD4 Count at 89 days result 1240
HIV 1&2 ECLIA, HIV 1 DNA by PCR, HEP B, HEP C, syphilis, Herpes at 91 days all came back negative

Now after 146 days I was suffering from high fever, severe throat pain and body aches
I was diagnose with strep throat and took the following test
CBC at 147 days WBC count high 20.080
CRP at 147 days 153
swabtest at 147 days positive for strep-throat

ARS will effect the WBC count
I hard that strep throat is one of the HIV symptoms and will not effect healthy individuals

what is the reliability of  tests I mentioned  are they all false negative. is it possible for the virus to hide somewhere in the lymph-nodes

Do I need to retest till 6 months

Thank you so much for your professional advise and care.

You ARE being parnoid.  You do not have HIV!!!!!

People, particualrly children regularly get minor illnesses such as sore throats and rashes. that's the reason they are referred to as "usual childhood illnesses".

You do need further care in relationship to your dalliance but it is becoming increasingly clear that that care should be professional help in addressing your completely inappropriate anxiety and fear.  You do not need to worrying that every illness and health event that occurs in your family is a consequence of some undetectable HIV infection.  EWH

Dear Doctor,

Thank you very much for your support

The only issue which concern me a lot is my wife and children's

my wife was also having symptoms in the same week
my 8 months old daughter was also suffering from fever, red rash around her vegina
My 7 years old son was diagnose with upper respiratory infection, sand paper like rashes all over the body
My 3 years old son was suffering from fever, sore throat, sand paper like rashes all over the body
My 5 years old son was suffering from fever, sore throat, sand paper like rashes all over the body

whole my family is effected with some kind of illness this concern me a lot
is it HIV that I gave to my loved one's? I am scared to death

My CBP test and my 7 year old CBP test were identical
WBC was very high 20.080 for me and my son was 20.000
My CRP was 153 my son CRP was 114

going through all this stages I am paranoid.

what is the cause for such high WBC count? HIV will increase the WBC count?

Thank you very much for your reply

Welcome back to the Forum.  I hope that the reply that I am about to provide will help you to move forward from your exposure nearly six months ago.  I have reviewed your earlier interchange with Dr. Handsfield and your subsequent posts on the Community site. I now need to urge you to understand that you did not get HIV from the exposure you described and that the testing you have had is conclusive.  You do not need to be concerned further about this.  I urge you to stay off the internet where persisting myths about "delayed seroconversion" persist despite the absence of any scientific proof of the existence of such a state.

You are not however immune from common, every day sorts of illnesses such as strep throats, the flu, or other common, every day illnesses.  You need to stop worrying and move forward.  Your strep throat is unrelated to your exposure in January.  EWH
