See above, that is up to you. I see no need for further testing. EWH
Final comment.....so should I test again at
three month or can I trust 6 week neg?
As I said there is virtually no chance this is HIV
Low BP and WBC are non-specific findings that are not necessarily suggestive of HIV, particularly with negative tests.
If you want to test further for your peace of mind, any test after 8 weeks will be definitive. At that time, I would urge you to not worry further about HIV (actually, I would rurge you to not worry at this time) EWH
so the chance of me having it now is none?
what about the low bp and low wbc?
do u recommend check at three months and if negative move on?
Welcome to our Forum. I do not thing you should be worried about HIV. The chance that your partner, as a heterosexual male had HIV is very, very low. Furthermore, if he says he was checked on found not to have HIV he was probably telling the truth and if his test was negative he would not have effected you. Even if he was infected, if he used a condom and it certainly sounds like he did, then that would protect you as well. Finally, a blood test taken at 6 weeks would detect well over 95% of recently acquired infections. When all of these considerations are considered, there really is no reason to be worried about HIV.
As far as your symptoms are concerned, these are very non-specific symptoms which could be caused by any of a number of different things including common, community acquired, non-STD viral infection. I would not worry about HIV as the cause of your symptoms.
I hope this comment is helpful to you. EWH
