Checking to see what medication you can take? Unless she is doing a geno test she could and should have prescribed the meds to you on the spot. Your CD4 are not far from AIDS classification.

Thanks so much, She did give me a Pneumonia Shot, Hepatitis A Shot, She said I was immune to Hepatitis B since I had already taken it in the past, I will have a chest xray friday to see how my lungs are and a TB Time Test next month. I am new at this I just hope she is doing the right thing, she mention that she was going to start me out on Atripla which is only 1 pill, how do you feel about the medication the doctor is going to prescibe for me. I to can't understand why she didn't start me off immediately on the medication.

My doctor started me on Atripla so far my body hasn't had any problems  with it, I take it at night prior to bed time. So far no problem sleeping, but I have a nagging couch comes and goes. do you think the virus could be causing it. Hardly any Diarrhea anymore. But, Like I stated in my earlier email, my CD-T-cell were 246, I know thats below 300 and my Viral Load was 22,000. Based on these two reading do you think I have been HIV+ very long? My doctors seems to think I have had this virus in my system for approx. 10 years but I don't think so. What to you think? I do appreciate all of your help so far, I take it one day at a time, work/exercise and don't think about the HIV+. Just wish I could get my wife to get tested, She refuses, I know she is okay. Thanks Again for all your help.

You've had it several years to have that low of a CD4.
