Positive results today

Hey. I got my results today. I am positive. I am alive. The world didnt end. With that being said, I dont know what to do now. My first appointment is next week. I might still be in shock I guess. I just kind of feel like life just began today. I feel like i can close out the old chapter of who I was, and now live as I should have all along. What do I expect next? How has your life changed?

Being positive is a complete manageable position these days. The world won't end, as you say. I understand your point re life begin today etc. It's almost like a sense of relief mot worrying about getting infected and enjoying life. But please be aware as an hiv positive person you can attract other infections such as hep c for example, so please take care of yourself and be responsible.
I hope you are okay, I'm sure you will be.
