I have been on Kaletra for 13 years & two nukes (currently Truvada).Has been wonderfully effective combo; undetectable for 13 years. Recently had ascending aortic aneurysm repaired & a single coronary by pass. Kaletra has been my only protease inhibitor I have ever taken. I am becoming concerned that my developing artherosclorosis is being excerbated by Kaletra & that I should be looking for some other combination therapy that has less an impact on my heart/circulatory system. I have had very high HDL my whole life; have hoped this would be protective. Have been on a statin for many years. Any thoughts or recommendations about switching meds & what combos to consider.
