Worried with HIV and diarrhea

Hey all,

My last high risk exposure (with my boyfriend of one year who told me he tested HIV+) was in February. Broke up with him soon after. Since then I had a 6 week HIV test which turned out to be negative. About 2 weeks after the exposure I began having diarrhea, it's been over a month that I've been having the diarrhea now. No other common symptoms of HIV have shown up so far, and I do not believe I have an immune system that is compromised (with the exception of anemia). I had three questions:

1. Has anyone else experienced the onset of longstanding diarrhea and associated it with HIV?

2. Should this be a reason for me to panic?

3. Shoud one test at 12 weeks or 13 weeks? Does it matter?

i'm in the same boat as you with the diarrhea and the 6 week test.  Currently i'm waiting for my 3 month result.  There's no doubt in my mind that anxiety has contributed to my situation probably because i've spent more time looking on the internet about HIV and Diarrhea than anything else.  Out of respect for the people who post in this section of the forum please take your question to the Support forum.  There's a reason nobody has responded to your question in this forum, you're likely to get a response in the support forum.  Thanks and good luck.

if you are worried a lot this can cause diarrhea. stress and worry can triger abdominal pain from mussels contracting in your gut and the result is diarreha. try taking imodem and relax about the hiv and see it the condition improves. my partner is pos and he got very very sick before he was tested positive and diarreha was not one of the issues with his hiv. i dont think diarreha yould be any indication that you was pos but not compleatly sure most people when they get sick with hiv infection have flu like symptoms, fever,runny nose aky all over as if you were sick with the flu  try going to
