Anxiety over HIV

Hi I recently have post on HIV forum 2 weeks ago.I fingered the woman my finger had some abrasion and skin peeling near the nail.I did felt a vaginal fluid inside her.I also had oral sex I ejaculated inside her mouth. Then after we had protected viginal sex.I didnt know her HIV status but she is a sex worker. From the HIV forum teak told me that I donot have a risk.It was nice to hear but still Im scared.6 days after I noticed some lmph nodes at my neck it like a hard one easy to touch just beneath the skin.I got tested 8 days after the said incedent.HIV rapid test finger frick I got negative. And after 4 days after I notice my lymph nodes seems to got back on it normal size agian I cannot feel it easily when I touch it.After 11 days I seems to have a very mi headache.I dont know if its just to much internet looking for more information about HIV.Mild headache was gone after a day and half.Yesterday was my 14th day Im confusing because the skin in my neck fells a little irritated it doesnt itch. Its not red it just feels like a little abrasion on the front middle part of the neck. The affected area is very small about just 1cm.I also had a little muscle pain at my right leg near my knees after waking-up this morning thats day 15.The size of the area in pain is just about 1.5 inch in diameter.I know I sound so paranoid it because Im really scared.Im also planing to have a 2nd rapid test on my 4th week but it seems to long for me.I can still function well most of the time.I even have enough sleep since I was 1st tested unlike before I was tested. Those where very long sleepless nights. But still when it hits my mind I cant stop thinking of it.Please do give me some advice.Im dying in waiting for my 4th week test that would be on Nov 4.

If your anxiety and/or depression is affecting you this way, you may want to speak with your doctor or a mental health professional. You would NOT have contracted HIV over this episode.

I will concur with the other Moderators who have addressed your concerns. You had Zero risk from fingering(regardless of any cuts, abrasions etc.) the woman. If you engaged in Protected vaginal/anal sex and your condom did NOT fail, you were NOT at risk of contracting HIV over this encounter.

Its been 5 weeks since day 1 of my ordeal. This morning I got tested with high hopes but my hope turn to much more anxiety.the medtech in the clinic got my blood and put it in a test tub Ive asked why i came here for a rapid test. And replied yes they will perform a rapid test but I have to wait 2 weeks. They said that the health department had change the process of HIV testing to lessen the  anxiety of those who will be false positive so all result will be on 2 weeks time. This things are killing me.Only in the Philippines.

Hi thanks for your re assurance. To tell you support groups for HIV here in the Philippines are not so helpful.Ive spoken with a doctor who is a part of the HIV support group and she told me that I am at risk and she already know people having HIV thru oral sex.And even told me to wait 3 months for the test. Then Ive asked a friend of mine who to ask his brother which is a doctor in one of good hospital here in the Philippines about my encounter.Well it was nice to hear, they told me I should not worry about it.Ive asked another HIV support group with my concern told me its not that easy to get HIV.They even gave me a rapid test at 8 days maybe just to calm me.The test was a regular rapid finger ***** which was from UN-AIDS global fund.Thats the only test available here western blot is just for confirmatory.Im planning to have another test maybe after 4 or 5 week of my exposure.I have been reading alot here it makes me think better when reading replies of the doctors at hiv prevetion.I hope I will not have HIV.

Okay I know how scary it is ! I was going through this myself! Everyone told me no risk BUT your mind likes to scare you into what If's!  Stress will give you symptoms like you can't believe. All I can see is talk to people who will listen and not judge! You can message me on here I am willing to listen. Peace
