Getting over anxiety

Hi all,

I, like probably all of you, have read enough information to be moderators on this site, assessing people's risk of acquisition, etc. However, I can't help the anxiety I continue to have even after I receive conclusive test results, or have low risk (essentially no risk) exposures. Then I find myself right back here, searching for a way to get back to my care free self before I had this crippling anxiety.

My question to you all, is have any of you ever been where I'm at but somehow got over your anxiety? It seems like even the silliest things, including condom protected sex as well as absurdly irrational other modes of "exposure" instantly make me think, "Well what if she has HIV?" or "What if that object that touched the cut on my had had HIV on it?"

It's obvious professional help is warranted, but I'd like to hear some success stories and how you overcame this God foresaken paranoia.
