PCR/HIV Test Review (Any Comments)

does anyone know how about the PCR/HIV test combo that tests DNA and is supposed to be able to detect HIV infection in 28 days?

I was looking @ going using the following company http://www.ehivtest.com/products/pcr-test

Any thoughts/reviews on this company or test?

As Dr. HHH told you, your test results proved that you didn't catch HIV from your no risk situation. You only have to be concerned about unprotected vaginal or anal sex- oral sex is not a significant exposure, and the fact that your partner was a sex worker doesn't change this. In all likelihood your sex worker partner was probably not even infected. People in North America have a wildly inaccurate view of HIV risks when it comes to commercial sex workers.

I suggest that you try to stay off HIV forums and avoid other anxiety-provoking behaviors (e.g. symptom surfing) for a while. You need to stop ruminating over this. Take up a hobby that you have enjoyed in the past to give yourself a break from HIV.

So, having read my situation, you think that I am okay?  I only ask because I just got something that looks like folliculitis on thigh and my throat continually feels tight and my outer neck has a little stiffness/soreness to it.  I cannot eat, really.  I eat because I know I have to and am afraid that if I do not, then that is definitely a sign of the virus.  I find myself on this site, and others, all day, my sleep pattern is off and I tremble most times just thinking about this.

I am trying to stay in this anxiety chat to help calm my nerves.

Thanks, joggen.

DNA tests are not approved as diagnostic tests and you don't need testing for the exposure that you describe in your earlier threads.
