This is a bad day.

Brief unprotected oral and protected vaginal sex with a girl who said she tested recently and was clean.
Body aches and sore throat have followed for months.
Now I have a low platelets; I'm brusing all over the place.

Got my 2/3 month EIA's; they were negative, but Dr. Wohl (whom I respect) on TheBody.com has started saying that 90 days isn't conclusive unless there is a direct detection test (p24 or RNA).

Went to get a Gen-Probe RNA test on Thursday... got a horrible hematoma all over my arm. I am literally sitting in front of my email waiting for the results. I can do nothing else.

I'm confident there's something making me very ill. It's very scary.
I just can't even wait for this last result I'm just laying in bed and crying. I feel doomed.

I am literally timing quest-diagnostics by the hour, knowing their setup-up times, and usual reporting times... I should get the results this afternoon if they aren't positive.

I simply pray for my family that it's Leukemia and not HIV. :(

Thanks for the sympathy and reasonable words.
As soon as I get my RNA results I think I'll be able to get over this.

You never had an exposure and never needed testing. See a doctor if you have symptoms that concern you, but stop wasting your time pursuing HIV. You simply have not done anything to present an HIV concern. Read the top sticky thread about protected sex.

Your thought processes are not normal and I suspect it is related to guilt over your encounter. Diseases like leukemia and HIV are not punishments handing out for having sex outside marriage. Again, if you are concerned about symptoms, work with a doctor, and I mean a real doctor, not an on-line one.
