Urgently need your advice.

I had an episode of sex with a sexworker. but did wear a condom. Since it was my first time I am not sure of the protection the condom has offerred. My medical practionar said that some of my symptoms resemble STDs hence advised me VDRL, HIV, Blood Test , Urine test at 6 Weeks. Which came back negative.

He said I need to repeat my HIV at 3 months (90 days). It has now come as negative. but my 6 week negative had OD reaction value of 0.01 with a cut off value of 0.3 to test + ve for HIV, and now for my 90 day elisa the OD value is 0.019 which is approximately double.(0.02), and negative I have read in the forum that 3 months is conclusive. But my medical practionaer is telling for testing at 6 months and 1 year. Both my tests were 3rd generation Elissa. It checked for antibodies alone. Am I in the window period or am I really HIV negative and can put the chapter to rest.I have a lot of painless sores on my feet but pulling pain in my legs. I thought -ve at 6weeks itself was enough as condom dint break. but now for 6months and a year I cant take it. Please help. Should I do any other test or start HIV medications.
Please guide me am I safe from HIV or its some other STD.

You tested Negative at 6 weeks and at 3 months,you DONT have HIV.
No need of further testing.

As you were advised by Vance and Lizzie Lou, you never had a risk in the first place. The condom didn't care that it was your first time and provided complete protection for you. You never had a need to test in the first place and the tests prove that you did not contract HIV. Your doctor should not have tested you for HIV in the first place and his advice to test at 6 months and 1 year should be considered malpractice, since it is only creating unnecessary anxiety for you.
