Your test at 10 weeks is a very very strong indication that you are safe.  Very rare for yor results to change with modern testing. Yes you should take another test at 12/13 weeks just to knock out any possibilities. I was on a birth control that was 98% accurate and had my daughter. I was part of that that 2% that failed. Not to scare you but to let you know that there is a difference in 100% and 98-99% and 100% means no chance.  I have a good feeling your negative 10 weeks is just 2 weeks shy of 3 months. take it in 2 weeks and be done. goodluck!

If you want a conclusive test result it's three months. There are no approved tests that will give you a conclusive result less than three months.

answer is a redundant retard!! I could say I am a 50 year old, NY invester, with a couple miilion in the bank. I could say I am a 34 year old, military pilot, and got my hiv scare when I flew to Korea for a month. I could say I am a 23 year old college student that tested negative for HIV at 8 months but tested positive a 13 months. Which one am I? Anyone can write anything on here, They can create any name they want, any place of residency, age, and information. The facts only come from the that facts. CDC website will confirm most of the sound opinions on here. and your doctor will tell you the rest! So which one am I?

none of the above!

I am a 29 year old male with too much time on his hands! Truth!

Just ignore what he's posted above, that information has no validation. This being internet every one can lie, would you believe me if I tell you that I'm Bill Gates sitting in here to type this message ?

Why does answersasap insist on scaring the **** out of people. Do you know how many peps are out here on the web, there is one destined to take a year to test pos. and on top of that how do we know this guy is telling the truth,or this was not one of those "rare" cases.

a 10 week negative is great! 12/13 week is conclusive, chances of a 10 week turning positive probably impossible.

Really Dr. H says a oral test is as good as a blood test. Right? I thought that is why oral tests were so notorious for false pos. is because of the sensitivity.

i think you should take a blood confirmation  test . the blood is highly more sensitive.
