12 week test tomorrow

Hi all.
Just to let you know that I'm going for my 12 week (final!!) test tomorrow morning. There are a number of people on here that have been a real help in getting me over my panic attacks and anxiety I've had.  I'm feeling a little anxious about it, but I now have a grasp on the size of my low risk encounter. Plus, I tested negative at 7 weeks.  So overall I think my chances of being positive are now in the 1 in 100's of millions.  Since it is so close to christmas I can get my results same day, so I'll post on here when I get them.
Thanks to you all again.

Thanks for all your support.  Had my test this morning, but it needs to go off to a lab several miles away.  I'm assuming it is a rapid test as they will have results within the next couple of hours.  I'm feeling only a little anxious as I know the odds are overwhelmingly stacked in my favour.  HIV testing in the UK still works to the 12 week / 3month rule.  So even though I managed to get tested at 7 weeks they still insisted I come back for this 12 week one.

I am in the same situation, I get my results tomorrow also for a 35 day test!

But you have already tested negative at 7 weeks, so you will be fine!  Your free!

Really, you dont need a test past 7 weeks.  Even some US States have already adopted the 6 week window guidline for testing.  When the 12 week result comes back, relax and enjoy the remainder of the year and holiday season.

Hi sm,

Well, I think I can post your results before you even get them: negative. Congratulations on coming to the end of your ordeal, and all the anxiety and worry that goes along with it. You'll be able to give yourself a well deserved Christmas present: an end to HIV anxiety.

Take care of yourself,

xhost
