3 month

firstly high every1 this saturday will be 19 weeks since my protected exposure with csw. i went to and got tested for hiv and syphillis after 13 weeks and 3 days. i recieved results by text all it said was results are okay so i presume it means negative, any ways i want to give blood so i went 2 local place o give blood this morning and i had to take a questionairre and i was 100% honest with them, anyway the person there said im unable to give blood because i have paid for sex within the last 12 months and im at risk of having hiv and hepatitis, syphillis etc. she said come back after 12 months if i wish to give blood. Why could they not except a 3month hiv test and am i also at risk of hepatitis, its got me real anxious again and im  reall thinking of going to get a full STD check in the next couple of months, i was goonna see if i could hold till at least 8 months to go get full std panel, if i ask 4 this will this include hiv and hepatitis tests pretty much all blood pathogens/viruses

hiv is transmitted through...

unprotected vaginal/anal intercourse
sharing iv drug works
mother to child

hiv is not transmitted through kissing.

what you'd like to be tested for is something to discuss with your doctor who would be ordering the tests.

lizzie thanks 4 the reply they did say to me even a newly affected person with hiv would not get past there thorough  testing i know this isnt hiv questioning but if i went for a full std panel would they test my blood for all things that r std such as hepatitis, or am i not at risk and do not need testing, my only incidents are kissing girls deeply when im out clubbing NHS states no risk and ive recieved protected oral and vaginal sex which reading through archives defo has no risk 2 hiv

your test was CONCLUSIVE...proving that you dont have hiv.

as far as giving blood...everyone has their own guidelines and that's something that you'll have to follow.
