hello Doctor, what is the window period of 3th generation Elisa test(only ab)? thank you very much
Considering that there are between 500-700 lymph nodes in the human body, it is, at times, impossible to know if they are swollen. The nodes in the groin, neck and under your arms are the most likely to be felt if swollen by hand.
Worriedsick u asked some good questions. Rubywitch can swollen lymph nodes be felt by hands if a person has them?
Since you have had protected sex since May, your status of negative stands.
BTW..........when a condom fails, they fail spectacularly........there is NO doubt. There wouldn't be enough of it left to do the "water test!"
I've had protected sex since. No breaks in condoms bc i check by pouring water in them to see if there are leakage.
If the test you took in May was at least 28 days post your last sexual encounter and they used a 4th generation DUO, your result of negative stands.
In the intervening months since May, if you have had other risks, you should test again.
My exposure was one stroke in and out unprotected in January 27. Took a blood drawn test in May 15. I know symptoms doesn't tell if u have HIV or not but its hard not to believe its not possible.
I'm sorry to repeat my response, but I have absolutely no way of knowing what test the lab used.
I CAN tell you if they used a 4th generation DUO, the results would be conclusive 28 days post your last exposure.
What was your risk? It's possible you didn't need to test at all.
Rubywitch do u think its no less than a 3rd Gen?
What are the time frames for these test?
You would have to ask the lab where your blood was drawn as to which test they used.
