6wks post PEP

hi experts

i had a low risk exposure(solid needlestick ) from a positive person and started PEP within the first hour and completed a month course. 6wks post PEP(10wks post exposure), a Rapid test came out negative.

i'm still very worried, what are my chances? have you seen anybody test positive after 6wks post PEP? i've not had any kind ofsymptoms since then.

thank you in anticipation.

You didn't have a risk to begin with.

hi

I know I was told my risk was almost zero but for the sake of reassurance I did a rapid antibody test at 12wks post PEP which came out negative.

Please can I forget about this now and move on? Any need for further testing?

Test means nothing because you can not get infected by a stick of a suture needle.

so can i take it as conclusive? I'm fine, no immune problems, not on anticancer drugs, not on prolonged iv drugs, just very worried. please your thoughts.
