9 Week Oraquick Negitive but the Kicker

I had unprotected vaginal insertive back on11/28/2016 and 12/2/2016 with the same girl. On 12/08 I was treated for Chlamydia AND LATER FOUND POSITIVE FOR IT. After a round of antibiotics it was presumably gone. However the Doxycycline caused me to experience all the ARS symptoms. After a week or so  of being off they were gone. Reading over and over again about symptoms I told the girl to test and she kept saying she was negative and finally went and bought an Oraquick test at her 8 week post exposure to her ex who gave her the chlamydia and it came back negative. I was only at 4 weeks and so the wait was on. After my 9 week exposure I went and bought an Oraquick Swab test from CVS and it came back negative. I am now going on week 10 and still feel like garbage. Can I assume that my 9 week Oraquick is pretty accurate? Your help is appreciated.

I really think you have nothing to worry about.

Oraquick was found by the FDA to give a accurate preliminary result at 8 weeks. It is conclusive 12 weeks. Unlikely for a 9 week test, oraquick or blood to change.

Did you mean 12 weeks?

Waiting 12 months for a conclusive result is unnecessary with advanced testing technology (4th Generation Testing) Guidelines have been updated. Unfortunately public health agencies haven't caught up fully with the times in regards to fourth gen testing.

Thank you. I will be at 10 weeks tomorrow and 11 weeks since my first exposer. I'm going in to get a 4th gen blood draw. Hopefully the results will be negative and I can just move on. I'm sure it's highly unlikely to be negitive at 10 weeks and positive at 12 or 13. I am a fairly healthy guy who works out no drugs or any of that nonsense.

A negative Oraquick at 9 weeks is "almost" conclusive. You don't need to worry. Just take any antibody test or even the Oraquick at 12 weeks post exposure for a conclusive result.
The DUO at this point would also be considered conclusive by a lot of people. Just a matter of opinion.

You shouldn't worry too much over this.

It is pretty accurate but not as accurate as standard blood tests. You are in all likelyhood hiv negative. However if you want complete reassurance i would advise to take an DUO test which would give you a conclusive result at this point.
